Facing the Avatar

A Performative Evening on »Beings« on and off screens

Cabaret Voltaire
Spiegelgasse 1
8001 Zürich

22.11.2016 | 19.00-21.00 Uhr

Imagine you meet your Avatar! Or a Robot with characteristics of a virtual Creature that looks similar to you! How would you perceive this »Being«? Would you look at It with interest, or even welcome It as a Friend? Maybe start a lively conversation? Or would the encounter be rather uncanny? Would you realize similarities with your Self, or look at an Other Subject, or even a Ghost, a mere Thing, an Object?
