InhalteAfter Seoul in 2019, Zurich will host one of the editions of MAKE, a collaborative platform between leading art universities.

The project's foundation idea is to select up to three students from each participating university who would work closely together with selected faculty members over a designated time at the ZHdK campus. The leading question behind the project is whether if it is possible to combine art making with art teaching. Another aim is trying to break hierarchical educational structures, a study in who is teaching and who is learning. The project consists out of workshops, seminars with inputs and a hands-on exhibition at the end.

Participating Art Universities:
  • Singapore: YALE-NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF SINGAPORE (Liberal Arts)
  • New York: NEW SCHOOL-PARSONS SCHOOL OF DESIGN (Photography & Media)
  • Seoul: CHUNG ANG UNIVERSITY (Media Art)
  • Bandung: INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (Fine Arts)
  • Zurich: ZURICH UNIVERSITY OF THE ARTS (Fine Arts)
