Lernziele / Kompetenzen
  • Explore the potential of repetition as point zero
  • Reflect the relation between music and non-linear story telling
  • Relate to complications and disappointments of sizing, placing and showing arts in space
InhalteIn this seminar the art production will mainly be seen not connected to any specific medium.
Daily routines can consist of different easy tasks without clear time pressure, can be done without thinking, are mostly boring but still personal. Daily routines can be content and practice at the same time. In this seminar art making will be seen as the same way.

The week will start with a short introduction of my own practice. Followed by watching and listening to music, videos and films of different genres to get to know different patterns/repetitions of style and cuttings. We will also look closer at music as tool for non-linear narration.

After that we will look at the student’s studio/work practice. We will check out two different coffee places, wander through the hardware store and talk about what can be done in short time. We will try to get handy and work on fast production with low expectations.
