Lernziele / Kompetenzen
  • Discussion of perception as an interplay between sense, thoughts, body, soul, nature and constructing
  • Testing concepts of body, mind, and technology related to artistic practice
  • Presentation of art works, exploration of contemporary concepts of nature
InhalteHow does a frame or a camera guide perception, for example of a painted surface? Do we have to understand this guide as a restriction or is it a form of extasis, a different one? The pool discusses these questions using the example of your work. We align the discussions with the philosophical discourse of perception, especially with Maurice Merleau-Ponty. In exhibition visits, we specify our discussions with concrete experiences of looking at art works. We will discuss this in relation to mediated presentations of artistic positions in distinguished journals (print and online), books and exhibition catalogues. A list of artists and related publications will be available beforehand.
