Inhalte | How do we relate to books, especially the format of the artist book and how do we make books, how are they part of our practice and what are the specifics of this defined and established format to showcase and share our work? Our practice seminar departs from the idea of the book as a site of artistic production as well as a way of mediating and showing and a source material. Through the lens of books, book-making, book-reading and looking at books we think about what it means to produce artworks, to publish our practice and relate it to a public. In the center of the course is your individual artistic practice. Within the two weeks we will walk and talk about your works, look at books and publishing practice and visit exhibitions in and around Zurich. A detailed program will follow before the term starts.
