InhalteIn Switzerland, 6,000 of them were killed, in the Canton of Grisons there were 246 - they live and die until today: the witches.

Witches were mainly women, but not only. They were also men and children, people of all ages and classes who became victims of Christian belief in the devil - scapegoats for diseases, storms, thunderstorms and poor harvests.

Although the hunt for them came to an end, the belief in them still exists. Wicca is the name of today‘s witchcraft religion, Gen Witch is the name given to a young generation of New Age spiritualists, and WitchTok is the hashtag used for practising witchcraft on social media. Witchcraft is Zeitgeist.

In our workshop we read and interpret the phenomenon of witchcraft from different perspectives - historical, feminist, pop-cultural and contemporary. At the centre of our witchy (design) practice lies reverence and reconnection with nature. Therefore we immerse ourselves in the elements of the pentagram and surrounding forests. We handle with artefacts, formulate spells, but above all we think, design and perform new rituals to reconnect with nature.
