| Inhalte | Every few decades, just as in recent years, the question of what an “exhibition” can be is discussed anew - where are the possibilities and limits of the format "exhibition" for the artist? Together we will visit and analyze "exhibitions" of a variety of formats and talk to other artists and curators about their approaches and strategies for choosing certain formats. In addition, we will learn about different institutional structures (project space, art gallery, museum, festival...) and different forms of collaboration between artist and "institution" - once again, to discuss the limits and possibilities, and hear of artists about their experiences of working with different institutions. Ablut the lecturer: Anna Roberta Goetz is a curator and writer specializing in artistic strategies that challenge governing narratives and structures in society. Over the past five years, she has been working as an independent curator between Europe and Mexico, and between 2012 and 2017, she worked at MMK Museum for Modern Art Frankfurt.
