Inhalte | Humans have created objects in ceramics for thousands of years. Even in contemporary art ceramics play an important role. In this module, you can create sculptural objects, which could also be produced in series, expanded into an installation, or integrated into painting projects. The module's focus is on an executing a small art project, but there is time for experiments as well. All necessary introductions and a Z-tech course are integrated in the module. Nadia Graf (*1972) studied art education and computer art in Zurich and New York. For 10 years, she was head of the BFA. Her artistic work has evolved from photography to moving images and further to interactive installations. Coincidence, remembering, and forgetting in a digital society are topics she has repeatedly dealt with. In the meantime, analogue techniques have moved back into her focus: ceramics, screen-printing and fanzine culture are subjects she teaches in her seminars. |
