InhalteThis module focuses on the postproduction of video and sound with the aim of creating an individual audiovisual aesthetic.
In the first week, we will work with the editing program "Premiere Studio Pro" – from setting up a project to administring the clips to exporting the edited film. In addition to technological know-how, there will be an introduction to methods of montage. Working with you own video and sound material, you will create montages in order to consolidate the knowledge acquired.
In the second week, we will look at various software tools in postproduction. We will examine how colourgrading and sound design determines the aesthetics of your videos. You will be introduced to colourgrading on Adobe Premiere Pro as well as to sound editing and mastering and explore them in little exercises. We will rummage throught the sound archive, and After Effects and DaVinci Resolve will be introduced. The films you create will analysed and discussed in respect to your artistic practice.
Please bring along your own material. It is also possible to work with found footage.
