| Inhalte | Nachdem im Kontext-Einführungsmodul im ersten Semester «Künstler:innen» und die damit verbundenen Ideen und Bilder im Zentrum standen, verschiebt sich der Fokus im zweiten Semester auf das Kunstfeld, in dem Kunst zirkuliert, in dem sie ausgestellt, vertrieben, gehandelt, gesammelt, diskutiert und verhandelt wird. Im Zentrum des Moduls stehen die Strukturen, Institutionen, Machtvektoren und Diskurse, die das Kunstfeld prägen, und ihre historischen Hintergründe, aber auch wie sich Künstler:innen zu ihnen verhalten können. This module provides an overview of the structures, institutions, and discourses that shape the art world today. Martin Jaeggi (*1968) is an author, editor, curator, and lecturer. He studied film and video at the School of Visual Arts, New York, and the San Francisco Art Institute. Numerous publications on contemporary art and photography in newspapers, magazines and books. Johanna Vieli (*1991) is an art historian, curator and a teaching assistant at the ZHdK. She studied at the University of Bern and Zurich. In her Master's thesis, she focused on the subversive gesture of laughter in the reception of video installations by Shana Moulton and Mika Rottenberg. She has previously worked for the Kunsthaus Glarus and the Kunsthalle Zürich. |
