Lernziele / Kompetenzen | The core of the work is learning approaches to physical and vocal techniques that provide students with the skills for individual research on the body and voice in training and performance. Research is the very nature of the acting process studied which then manifests itself in students' own investigation into acting. The MA in acting aims to train the artist to be independent through a program that gives the skills, confidence and methods to develop their own practice. |
Inhalte | Workshop for Actors to dive into the flow of eastern European theatrical practices based on physical ensemble training. In the core of this training actors will rediscover their presence through exercises based on playfulness, imagination, physicality, partnerwork, mindfulness and work with text. Each participant will bring one text, preferably a monologue, close to their heart and has an opportunity to play with it freely in several settings of exercises. Ensemble work deepens the understanding and experience of the common shared practice of group work. We're playing through the dynamics of sensitivity of the connection to one's breath and voice towards the loudness of emotion and body expression rising from the actor's inner landscape. |
