| Inhalte | In this course we will look at how we as dance artists deal with notation and score-making. On the basis of the book “Lines” by anthropologist Tim Ingold - in which he states an anthropological archeology of the line - we are going to research on notation and scores from different cultural fields (script, music, dance, calligraphy, fabrics, architecture, genealogy, city planning, agriculture, etc.) and handcrafts (drawing, writing, mapping, etching, weaving etc.) We will reflect on these various methods and practice own score-making with different tools and material (pen, yarns, threads, paper..) with the aim to step out of the already known and dive into new creative processes of dance-making. |
