| Inhalte | Contemporary art increasingly deals with current debates on the endangered planet earth, the natural environment, and related nature-cultures. This module focusses on artistic positions in the field of ecology / environment / nature and discusses related key topics and terms, such as eco-art, environmental arts, environmental ethics, hybrid natures, sustainable practices, etc. It provides insights into the current shifts in understanding nature and explores how artists engage in these topics. The module is based on theoretical inputs, reading and debates as well as small interactions with natures or natural habitats. Annemarie Bucher (*1960), Dr. sc., lic. phil. I, lecturer BA Fine Arts ZHdK and MA Landscape Architecture ETH-Z, co-director of FOA-FLUX (foa-flux.net), and freelance curator, publicist and researcher. |
