Modul | Praxis: |
Veranstalter | Departement Fine Arts |
Leitung | Franziska Koch, Felix Stalder, Jasmine Gregory |
ECTS | 18 Credits |
Voraussetzungen | Unterrichtssprache: Deutsch & Englisch |
Zielgruppen | BA Fine Arts Studierende - 6.
Franziska Koch's (*1966) practices include installative exhibition formats, experimental performances, sound translations and publication formats in collaborative contexts. She is co-organizer of OOR, a record store, event and production context in Zurich, which is interested in politics of sound and the emancipatory potential of sonic space. OOR is located at the interface of audio art, performance, experimental music cultures, intersectional feminist practices and experimental DJ cultures. oor-rec.ch/ Felix Stalder (*1968) is a professor in the BA Fine Arts. His work focuses on the intersections of cultural, political and technological dynamics, in particular on new modes of common-based production, control society, copyright and transformation of subjectivity. He not only works as an academic, but also as a cultural producer, being a moderator of the mailing list <nettime> and a member of the World Information Institute as well as the Technopolitics Working Group (both in Vienna). Publications a.o. “Aesthetics of the Commons” (co-editor, Diaphanes, 2021), and “Digital Unconscious” (co-editor, Autonomedia, 2021), https://fs.zhdk.ch, https://felix.openflows.com Jasmine Gregory (*1987) is an artist working mostly in painting. She lives and works in Zurich and is since Fall 2020 teaching assistant at the BFA. She studied photography at School of Visual Arts in New York and completed her MFA at the Zurich University of the Arts. |
