Inhalte | Since 2003, ACT has been offering a platform for art students at Swiss universities to enable them to realise performative projects. Every year, the festival tours through various cities in Switzerland. The events can be considered as an open laboratory for testing out performative projects and artistic strategies and have played an important role in the development of performance as an art medium in Switzerland. ACT 2022 will be the 20th edition of the festival. For this anniversary, the participating universities will organise a three-day event in Biel/Bienne from 6 to 8 May. After almost two years of the pandemic and online performances, ACT 2022 will bring together art students from all over Switzerland at a common interregional gathering around performance art, giving them the chance to reflect on the past and paving the way for future collaborations. Mammuttag (Saturday, 5 March 2022) Festival sites and performance formats will be presented. Performances may take place in different locations throughout the city (Pasquart, Dispo, public spaces, etc.), each of them offering a unique situation for the students’ performance experiments. Possibility of informal exchange over a shared lunch. ACT Festival (Friday, 6 to Sunday, 8 May 2022) Over the course of the three-day festival, students will show their performances. The programme also includes workshops, guest lectures, performances by former students and shared meals. Students will receive individual mentoring from a pool of HKB staff in advance of the festival. Feedback day (Tuesday, 24 May 2022) An external expert will provide feedback on the student performances, and there will also be time for joint reflection on them. Detailed information to follow. |
