Lernziele / KompetenzenBasic understanding of creating 3D-representations of humans and integrating the avatars in digital media environments and immersive experiences, such as virtual and augmented reality (VR, AR) and spatial augmented reality (SAR).
InhalteThe course starts with a general introduction to the current use of avatars in films, games and the arts, as well as in social media. This is followed by a introduction to basic technologies that are available in the Immersive Arts space, such as volumetric capture, motion capture, augmented reality, virtual reality, projection mapping and 3D-Audio.
In small interdisciplinary groups, the participants then develop their own projects and implement them within the range of their own capacity and the available technology.
