Lernziele / Kompetenzen | How to revise and re-mediate wilderness. How to perceive geological in scales and reflections in/time-and space. How to revise the attitudes of our interventions in regards to environmental form. To consider Swiss and Swedish landscapes and infrastructures in relation to redefining geoengineering from colonial, sculptural and perceptual standpoints. |
Inhalte | Part 1 1-5.11.2021 Zürich (seminar room, riverside, water table wind tunnel) Input: historical examples of geoengineering interventions, review environmental and land art approaches and regional state visits. Preparation: imagining in-situ interventions Part 2 TBA Spring semester 22 1 to 2 weeks, dates tbd Stockholm / Umeå SE *ideally students who inscribe themselves in Part 1, are expected to join Part 2, while this is not mandatory |
