Lernziele / Kompetenzen• Considering the role of design in structuring our experience of a space

• Developing and expanding a language around your use of materials
InhalteHow does the material world we design shape us as humans? How do objects and materials come to embody ideological ideas? How does form emerge in material? These are some of the questions we will explore through discussions, lectures, films and practical tasks revolving around making and un-making. We will explore the relationship between design and identity by looking at the built environment, materiality, queer uses of space and the body. This course is open to everyone and will engage with material specific to LGBTQ+ communities, sexuality & the city. It will involve both theoretical and practical participation.
