Lernziele / Kompetenzen | 17 & 18 December 2021: colloquium The aim of the colloquium is to reflect on the possibilities of exploiting Platonic dialogues in the training of actors, on the one hand by examining the intentions and the educational strategies that Plato put in place through his work and his philosophical practice, and on the other hand by questioning approaches to theatrical training that use the Athenian philosopher’s particularities to explore scenic modes of expression. |
Inhalte | This international and transdisciplinary colloquium, an initiative of the Swiss Theatre Society (SST) in collaboration with the Accademia Teatro Dimitri and the University of Lausanne, focuses on reflections that revolve around the relationship between Plato and the theatre, with special attention on the ironic and humorous component of the dialogues and reflections that he carried out in dramatic form. The two days will include moments of reflection and workshops at the crossroad between the fields of theatrical studies/practices and philosophy. 19 to 21 December 2021: practical theatre experiments based on the themes proposed during the colloquium. |
