Lernziele / Kompetenzen |

Inhalte | The module gives an introduction to theoretical concepts and art historical-discourses, which are characteristic of the field of contemporary art. Using examples from the 20th century onwards, it shows links between art, philosophy, society and media and technological conditions. The course will be structured according to fields of concepts relevant for the study of art. The contents are selected by the lecturers according to their professional focus and the tension between present and past. Meret Kaufmann (*1989) studied art history and theatre studies at Freie Universität Berlin and University College London, where she is currently working on a PhD project. She works across research, exhibition making and mediation. |
