| Inhalte | Im Praxismodul findet die eigene künstlerische Praxis der Studierenden statt. Atelierarbeit sowie Diskussionen über die individuelle oder kollaborative Arbeit der Studierenden stehen an vorderster Stelle. Das Praxismodul wird über 6 Semester von mindestens zwei Dozierenden geleitet, die ebenfalls die Studienberatung für die Studierenden im Praxismodul gewährleisten. Unterrichtsformate sind u.a. gemeinsame Werkdiskurse, Exkursionen, Studio-Visits bei Künstler*innen, Arbeitsgespräche in Gruppen sowie eine enge Begleitung der Studierenden durch Einzel-Mentorate. Alle Studierenden in einem Praxismodul teilen sich Arbeitsplätze in einem Atelier, wodurch auch der Austausch untereinander zusätzlich gefördert wird. Michael Meier (*1982) lives and works in Zurich. 2006-2010 he completed a BA of Arts in Fine Arts (with a specialization in photography). Since 2008 he works with Rico Scagliola as an artist duo. The exploration of self-concepts of individuals or groups of people and how they relate to the self-perception of a social collective is currently one of their main interests. www.ricoandmichael.com Flora Klein (*1988) lives and works in Berlin. Klein’s practice constitutes primarily abstract painting. She studied fine arts at ECAL, Lausanne. Her work has been shown at Kunsthaus Hamburg (2016), Instituto Svizzero, Rome (2017), Treize, Paris (2018) and recently at Suns.Works, Zürich (2020), Christian Andersen, Copenhagen (2020) and Lars Friedrich, Berlin (2020). In 2016 she was awarded the Kiefer-Hablitzel Price. Klein is the co-founder of Curbit Festival (since 2014), the exhibition series Walks News, Berlin (2014 - 2018) and the projectspace Midnight, Berlin (since 2019). Klein works at MÄDEA, an intercultural center for girls and young woman. In 2020 she taught at the Summer Academy in Salzburg. Ramaya Tegegne (*1985) is an artist and cultural organizer based in Geneva. Her practice is investigating the structural mechanisms, power relations, narratives, selection and production conditions of art and culture. In 2017 she launched the campaign Wages For Wages Against for the remuneration of artists in Switzerland. She is co-running the art bookshop La Dispersion in Geneva. She has presented solo exhibitions at Künstlerhaus Stuttgart (2021); Ludlow 38, New York (2019); Istituto Svizzero, Milan (2019); Kevin Space, Vienna (2019); Maria Bernheim, Zurich (2018); First Continent, Baltimore (2017); and Fri Art, Fribourg (2015); as well as performances at Théâtre de l'Usine, Geneva (2019); Kunsthalle Basel (2018); Kunsthalle Bern (2017); and the Swiss Institute, New York (2016) amongst others. |
