| Inhalte | In this course, we will look at how we as dance artists deal with the legacy of dance. In contrast to dance academics who try to fix the ephemeral nature of dance by capturing it in written form, dance artists have developed alternative ways of transmitting knowledge and building a physical history of dance. In this course, we will reflect these alternative ways and develop together concepts of embodied practices that narrate dance through corporeal facts. In this context, we will focus on performance and workshop/class as the event in which body-based memory, legacy and experience are repeated and transmitted. |
