| Inhalte | In the module the students' own artistic practice takes place. Studio work and discussions about the students' individual or collaborative work are at the forefront. The practical module is led over 6 semesters by at least two lecturers, who also provide student counselling for the students in the practical module. Teaching formats include joint work discourses, excursions, studio visits to artists, group discussions and close supervision of the students through individual mentoring. All students in a practical module share workstations in a studio, which also promotes the exchange of ideas and experiences. Monster Chetwynd (*1973) lives and works in Glasgow, is a British artist known for reworkings of iconic moments from cultural history in improvised performances. In 2012, she was nominated for the Turner Prize. Monster Chetwynd graduated from the Royal College of Art with an MA in painting (2004), following a BA in Fine Art at the Slade School of Art (2000) and a BA in Social Anthropology and History at UCL (1995) (all London). Mathis Altmann (*1987) is an artist, living and working between Zurich and Los Angeles. Known for his assemblage sculptures and light-based installations, Altmann's practice investigates the social dramas of our hyper-networked urban milieu. He graduated from ZHdK with a BA in 2011.
