InhalteIn the Artistic Working Methods Courses the students will receive an insight into the working methods of an experienced choreographer/teacher. According to the inquiries and requests of the students, the artist will decide which main topics to research. Through intensive discussion with the artist, investigation of working practices, and exchange of feedback on own approaches, the students shall have the opportunity to improve their individual artistic profiles.

Captivated by dance, Dimitri Chamblas joined The Paris Opera’s celebrated dance school at age ten.
Chamblas performed with various choreographers and companies such as Boris Charmatz, Emmanuelle Huynhn, Mathilde Monnier among others.
Chamblas is co-founder of EDNA with choreographer Boris Charmatz. Together they have organized events, performances and exhibitions. Their duet "A bras le Corps" has been performed on every continent in world-renowned theaters and festivals.
The duet entered the repertoire of the Paris Opera in spring 2017.
Dimitri Chamblas and Benjamin Millepied began in 2011 a film producing partnership, which remains active and ongoing.
In 2014 Dimitri Chamblas was nominated as artistic director , being in charge of the 3rd Stage of Paris Opera. He founded this creative digital platform by inviting artists such as Alex Prager, Glen Keane, Mathieu Amalric, Xavier Veilhan, Bret Easton Ellis, Julien Prévieux, William Forsythe, Rubber Legz, United Visual Artists, Lil Buck, Jonas Kaufmann… to create original artworks.
In 2017 he launched Studio Dimitri Chamblas, a structure that hosts all of its projects and collaborations, including a duet with the star dancer Marie-Agnès Gillot, his participation in the new creation of Boris Charmatz premiered at the Volksbühne in Berlin, or a creation with architect François Perrin and François Dallegret for the Performa Biennial 2017 in New York.In 2017 Chamblas started a duet with artist and musician Kim Gordon.
In 2017 Dimitri Chamblas was nominated as Dean of the Sharon Disney Lund School of Dance at the California Institute for the Arts (CalArts).
