Inhalte | For several months, we have now witnessed the radical interruption of public cultural events. Throughout this year, as museums, galleries, cinemas and theatres reopen their doors in a state of increased fragility, we at La Manufacture will investigate, together with the students of the Master in Theatre, an epidemic that undoubtedly had not waited for Covid to infect performances. The most obvious symptom of this contagion is a repeated collapse of the very idea of dramaturgy and the increasingly virulent challenges in a wide range of writings, wherever they may originate. These crises have hit, in various modalities, the fields of drama, cinema, fiction and the visual arts. Over the course of this year, we will attempt to name and decipher them together with invited speakers, all of whom have a unique perspective on the subject. This is why this colloquium, elaborated over the course of several months, will draw on the works of Iris Brey, a film specialist, Noëlle Renaude, a writer, Thomas Schlesser, an art historian, Patrick Boucheron, a historian and medievalist, and finally, Olivier Neveux, an essayist and drama specialist. |
