Inhalte | If students could play ball: not run, as they say, around the pool or chat around a table – which would, anyway, be very pleasant, the era delivering more questions than it provides answers – or wait, suspicious, for an “education” that I would unfortunately be unable to deliver, but instead do without all that, consider the thing as definitely acquired: learn nothing, then, that we don’t already know, nothing else, as the child Ernesto said, who no longer wanted to go to school because he was taught “things I don’t know”, but live, live in the sense of diving right into it, feet or head first, into the oceanic river; resuscitate immediately (before death), rather than before or after; impersonate God (or Buddha). Pablo Picasso famously said: “I do not seek, I find”. An assertion which recalls one by Gérard Depardieu: “I do not act, I live”. Stop pretending. Life is only encounters. In a staging by Claude Régy, Ivanov, jaded, shouted: “It all feels like a novel!” And Sacha, the lover, replied: “Life, that is the same”. “We are things to be shaken up, darling...” What does one call being free (on a stage or in front of a camera)? Does “discovering” have anything to do with this freedom? What is freedom? Doesn’t it have other names? (“I write your name...”) What is breathing, living, being? What matters, what doesn’t? Metamorphosis? Transition? The transition from one moment to another? What is easy or difficult? What is immersing oneself? What is knowledge and what is ignorance? Presence, absence? What is the “aesthetic of disappearance”? For what profit? What is getting lost? Winning? Losing? Do angels...? Ghosts…? Remembering getting lost. Remember being dead. Sincerity? Lies? Theatre? What is appearing, then? From this whole disaster? What is after the battle? The real? After the real? What is the heart? Is it possible to speak from the heart? Do we have a heart? Who has a heart? Yes, no. What is the truth, what is the truth that is not? Do you have a heart? You, me or you? You? YNG |
