Lernziele / KompetenzenThe design studio course should stimulate a critical examination of the role of decisions and decision-making moments for social and personal life.
InhalteEthics is the philosophical foundation for a good life and asks what makes a good life. A key part of a good life is making the right decisions at the crucial moment. This requires on the one hand experience in dealing with such situations and on the other hand foresight to be able to estimate the consequences of their own trade.
In this design studio course, we examine the materiality and visuality of decision-making moments and turning points, both in social and personal contexts based on texts, films and artifacts. Through design experiments and explorations we will speculate about moments of decision making through various media, for example words, sounds, images, artefacts or performances. The outcome of our investigation with be presented in a final exhibition.
