Inhalte | For two semesters we have been exploring theoretical frameworks and practical examples taken from different contexts which work with the approach and methodologies of the Commons. It has been a long investigation of principles in which commons are based, and it’s still remaining a concept which allows different (experimental) imaginations of settings to be formed. Therefore, based on ideas and possibilities generated from the previous Commons Labs we will switch to the practices in which we can find Commons in between us. We will address these questions to ourselves as participants and we will try to design settings in which we imply the Commons through practical processes. Starting with questions such as, what are the collectives and the practices in which Commons would work today, in our present exaggerated provision of goods? How can we map our own resources to further help us experiment with practices which allow a reflection of togetherness on how we use and consume something in common? The lab will be initiated in an informal setting where the first practice we will work on is cooking, as a common essential we all share, through this practice we will raise the questions which will help us set an environment of continuous experimental sessions for the future. The aim of the seminar is to create an open space where the struggle to find a common practical set of activities will be manifested and further shaped by the participants, and it will stay in a continuous open process for new students. The Lab will further include a closer look into artistic practices presented at Manifesta13 in Marseille which seeks to explore new forms of being together: "Traits d’union.s" (https://www.manifesta13.org/traits-dunion-s/). |
