• learn about different forms of publishing, distinguishing specifics of each medium
• improve relevant knowledge and vocabulary throughout the procedures connected to printed matter and beyond
InhalteThe aim of this module is give you an overview of the publishing worlds connected with art, also in order for you to become more comfortable and confident in reading, speaking and writing about your own and other’s work in English.

We will practice conversations about art publications, read and discuss reviews and essays, listening to podcasts, visit exhibitions and discuss set subjects, also with invited experts. We will train your writing and presentation skills, and last but not least discuss how the dangers to be lost in translation might be avoided.

Mareike Dittmer (*1978) studied cultural and communication sciences at the UdK Berlin and was for almost 20 years involved with frieze magazine, being the co-founder and co-publisher of frieze d/e and later the associate publisher of frieze. As director of Art Stations Foundation CH, for the past 1.5 years she has developed different formats for the new Muzeum Susch and the other activities of the foundation - from book publishing to podcasts, social media chanels and the Muzeum Susch App.
