Lernziele / Kompetenzen | This module aims to deepen the understanding of how stories work in order to produce better and more engaging forms of narration and storytelling. This course should help students to broaden their thematic spectrum and their creative means of expression, while at the same time stimulating a critical examination of their own design process. |
Inhalte | This module explores alternative and innovative ways of narration and storytelling as a form of understanding the world. Stories are a way of relating to others and a critical means of communication that we engage in almost all of the time. We will engage with the stories and narrative that surround us in order to get a deeper understanding of how they work as well as investigate how stories are structured in different media. The aim is to produce new descriptions of the world through storytelling and to explore how specific media influences the way stories are encountered. |
