| Lernziele / Kompetenzen | The design studio course should stimulate a critical examination of the role of immersive experiences for social and personal life. It aims to engage students critically with immersive experiences and their cultural manifestations and to examine strategies to intensify or to counteract these. This course should help students to broaden their thematic spectrum and their creative means of expression, while at the same time stimulating a critical examination of their own design process. |
| Inhalte | This module explores the social, personal and political consequences of immersive worlds. The aim is both to explore these worlds and to materialise and visualise the experiences that these worlds may produce. The focus is not on rendering these worlds in detail, but to present them as fragments that highlight the aesthetic manifestations of immersive situations. The results can take the form of essays, films, artefacts or performances. |
