| Inhalte | What could this possible TRAINING be? How to listen, to notice, to become “coll-active”? Can we render the not yet possible through breathing, dreaming, touching, poetry? Do we need TRAINING to imagine a non-fascist living and if this is even possible, how might it look as an artistic practice? This praxis seminar wants to be an open process of shared study, a communal research platform and will offer the chance to collectively imagine the potential of the not-yet. TRAINING will also explore refusal and refuge. What forms of encounters must be invented or re-used to form human and non-human coalitions? Do we have to reframe artistic practices and desires to heal the “eco-logical” wounds? And what might this look like? In this praxis seminar we will study and meet transformational projects/collectives in the artistic and cultural sector and in the framework of a critical Anthropocene discourse. We will also put together a special film program for close viewing. Online seminar guests: Emma Wolukau-Wanambwa, Andreas Siekmann, Alice Creischer, Jeanne van Heeswijk, Theaster Gates and the feminist collective Fundación Mareia (Quibdó/Afro-Colombia). *** Was könnte ein mögliches TRAINING dafür sein? Wie kann man zuhören, ohne zu urteilen, wahrnehmen, notieren, um «kollaborativ» zu werden? Können wir das Noch-nicht-Mögliche durch Atmen, Träumen, Berühren, Poesie aufrufen? Brauchen wir das TRAINING, um uns ein nicht-faschistisches Leben vorstellen zu können? Und – falls eine solche Vorstellung überhaupt möglich ist – wie könnte dies als künstlerische Praxis aussehen? Dieses Praxisseminar will ein offener Prozess des gemeinsamen Studiums sein, eine gemeinsame Forschungsplattform. Es bietet die Möglichkeit, sich das Potenzial des Noch-nicht-Möglichen gemeinsam vorzustellen. TRAINING untersucht Formen des Flüchtigen und der Ablehnung. Welche Formen der Begegnung müssen erfunden oder wiedererfunden werden, um menschliche und nichtmenschliche Koalitionen zu bilden? Sollen wir unsere künstlerischen Praktiken und Sehnsüchte «re-framen», um die techno-ökologischen Wunden zu heilen? Wie könnte das aussehen? Im Praxisseminar untersuchen wir im Rahmen eines kritischen Anthropozän-Diskurses transformative Projekte/Kollektive in Kunst- und Kulturarbeit. Wir werden zudem ein spezielles Filmprogramm für ein «close viewing» zusammenstellen. About the teachers: Nina Kerschbaumer is a filmmaker and researcher. She is interested in fact and fiction narratives and the deconstruction of common storytelling methods. In her artistic work, she explores how the supposed distinction of private and public space and its visual representation affect concrete social and political decisions. Her research is directly linked to her practice as a Visual Artist, centered around mobile phone photography in social media, its production methods and implications. knowbotiq (Yvonne Wilhelm, Christian Huebler) has been experimenting with forms and medialities of knowledge, political representations, and epistemic disobedience. In recent projects they have been investigating and enacting political landscapes and inhuman geographies, focusing on algorithmic governmentalities, libidinous and affective economies and postcolonial violence. knowbotiq.net |
