InhalteThe aim of this module is that you become more comfortable and confident in speaking and writing about your own and other’s work in English.

We will practice conversations about art, read and discuss reviews and essays, listening to podcasts, visit exhibitions and converse about what we see. We will train your writing and presentation skills, and last but not least discuss how the dangers of being lost translation might be avoided.

We will discuss and train to adapt the format, style, sound and content of writing to different purposes.

Since summer 2018 Mareike Dittmer is the director of the Art Stations Foundation CH in Susch, which carries and develops the Muzeum, Disputaziuns, Instituto, Temporars and Akziun Susch. Since 2011 she has also been active in the editorial office of the Berlin interview magazine mono.kultur; in 2016 she initiated the 9th Futurological Congress together with Julieta Aranda. Most recently published is a lecture 'Into the Woods', which explores the significance of the forest as a metaphor in literature.
