| Lernziele / Kompetenzen | Actors and their creative bodies – the experience of the Commedia dell'Arte. The encounter with the masks and the characters of the Commedia dell'Arte gives actors an opportunity to learn more about their bodies. By modelling their “instrument” and listening to it, they can increase their awareness of the impulses and stimuli that move the human being. They get ready to experiment and to redis-cover the fundamental principles of making theatre. The masks of the Commedia dell'Arte contain an infinite possibility of exploration and innovation within a spe-cific code. |
| Inhalte | The course will be divided into work phases: 1) meeting the mask 2) meeting the characters 3) the relation between the characters 4) the construction of scenes (script) We will be dealing with the main characters and figures of the Commedia. Through the actors’ creativity, the masks and characters will gain a new life. A brief and rousing plot will be created and presented. The actors will discover the hidden treasures of the technique and the creative construction that gives each one of them a centre and autonomy. |
