Inhalte | Logos pop up in the streets. They are reflected in contemporary artistic productions. This is the starting point for our seminar. We do a research on art works with the filter of iconic writing. With iconic writing we focus on words, concepts and texts which attract our attention. Therefore we read fragments of ancient philosophers like Heraclite, Pythagoras and poets like Sappho, and Homer. They have coined texts on Hermes, Nike, power, justice and war. Their writings attract with simple words like war, love, just, who have a complex meaning. This meaning we will unfold. Dr. Nils Röller is Professor for Media- and Cultural Theory, more information is available at (www.romanform.ch). |
