InhalteChoreography stages a conversation in which the artwork reveals the knowledge that is stored in movement and gestures. These stories, I assume, can be used to engage with the current body optimizations of the "pharmacopornographic"* regime.

The one-week workshop provides an understanding of different choreographic methods,
that move between the corporeal and the cerebral in order to transcend the boundaries of the individual body as it is emphasized strongly in Eurocentric culture. Over the 5 days of the workshop, we will collectively engage in a shared imagination that takes into account the invisible symbiosis of our bodies with drugs, hormones, fertilizer, bots, and algorithms.
Propelled by a physical practice throughout the workshop, our engagement might make us dance technologized ornaments or stutter over automated movement patterns.
In performative public extension of the workshop, p.ex. a series of collective choreographies in the urban area, we searach for adequate stagings of the diversity of body knowledge and our stories.

Stefanie Knobel (1983) is an artist and choreographer. Her work bases on bodily and linguistic practices, that alongside geopolitical dynamics, scrutinize means of production, performativity and the public sphere.
