InhalteKnowledge Exchange is a hands-on seminar focusing on the theoretical, practical and aesthetic aspects of do-it-yourself knowledge exchange in contemporary art contexts. The seminar is centered around the idea that everyone possesses a form of knowledge that could be shared / taught to others, in a non-hierarchical setting.

IMPORTANT: Students who sign up will be responsible for the learning AND the teaching that will take place during the seminar.

On December 4, Philip Matesic will give an introduction to the topic, related directly to his ongoing art projects: Theory Tuesdays and Practical Fridays, as well as other examples in contemporary art contexts. Following the introduction, there will be a discussion about a selected text on the topic, to be read beforehand. After the discussion, those enrolled will collectively plan student-run workshops and discussion sessions for the final three days of the seminar.

On December 11, January 10 and 17, each student will be allotted a two-hour time slot to workshop a practical skill (that they already know) or discuss a theoretical text (related to their art practice). The location of the workshops and discussion sessions will be determined by those enrolled, related to their workshop and discussion topics.
