InhalteWhen every argument is equal, how is it possible to distinguish between truth and falsehood? What implications does our daily life or intimate sphere have on our mode of being a "citizen"?

In this module we will focus on the process of artistic work, both practically and theoretically. The students will be expected to continue with their own research and additionally to create a context for their work.

In the first semester we explored the theme of equality, looking at this concept within the frame of 2 books: Returning To Reims by Didier Eribon and Baise-Moi by Virginie Despentes.

Marc Bauer is working mainly with drawings which can take many forms: ceramic, wallpaper, wall drawing, animation films, tapestry, sculptures and paintings. Born in Geneva he is living between Berlin and Zurich. He studied at Rijksakademie in Amsterdam after a diploma in ESAV in Geneva (now HEAD). www.marcbauer.net

Georgia Sagri lives and works in Athens and New York. She holds a diploma in cello, a BA from Athens School of Fine Arts, Athens, and an MFA from Columbia University, New York. Her multidisciplinary practice is centered on her ongoing exploration of performance as an ever-evolving medium within social and visual life. Her practice has been influenced on her engagement on issues of autonomy, empowerment and self-organization. She was recently a participant artist of Documenta 14 in both Athens and Kassel. In 2011 she was one of the main co-organizer of general assembly and Occupy Wall Street movement in NY. She is the founder of the audio-only magazine FORTÉ (magazineforte.com) and SALOON, an ongoing curatorial project. In 2014 she initiated HYLE (hyle.gr), a semipublic space in Athens.

Anita Di Bianco is a Berlin-based artist who works with film, video and print - her films, writings, and projects can be seen at www.anitadi.net. She was born in New York and educated at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University (US) and at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam.
