Inhalte | 1st course – March 12, 2018 This course deals with the different forms that drama took in the course of Western history, from Greek drama to the experiences of the avant-garde of the twentieth century. In addition to typological and technical aspects, the course will address the various logics of implementation of theatrical architecture and its relationship to the urban environment. 2nd class – March 13, 2018 This course explores the theatrical apparatus as a confrontation between actor and spectator, focussing on the point of view of the construction of the most appropriate space for dramaturgic action. Artistic experiments of the early 20th century avant-garde will be presented and discussed. 3rd class – May 7, 2018 Architecture as a theatre of human life is a metaphor but also a perspective from which it is possible to observe and understand theatrical action. Identification and presentation of architectural experiments that used and use theatricalisation as a project “strategy”. 4th class – May 8, 2018 Beyond the experiments that have produced and conceived urban spaces as theatres, it is possible to affirm that the urban dimension is one of the deputised loci of theatrical (and cinematographic) representation. The course illustrates the modalities of realisation of such an approach. |
