| Lernziele / Kompetenzen | 1. To get introduced briefly to documentary theatre as a genre and its different methods, and to think what interests them in documentary theatre in order to facilitate their choice of methods 2. To recognize a momentary obsession, a story that is impossible not to tell, an urgent question or subject that insists to be shared with others through documentary material 3. To accept that the material is the main creator of form as opposed to forcing a pre-decided form upon the material 4. To rethinking necessity while developing form in an artistic process and recognizing the bare essentials while never forgetting the audience |
| Inhalte | 1. Before the workshop the participants/students will receive the task of answering questions through their choices of documentary materials in different forms: video, audio, photo, written text 2. As a form of introduction the material will be shared in different ways in order to dig into the content of the intuitively chosen material 3. Choices will made about individual work vs. teamwork depending on thematic and intuitive affinities in relation to the chosen documentary material 4. Experimenting through tasks with the material to find the most suitable form for the given content 5. Reaching an end: wherever one is in the process that can be shared with any given audience |
