| Inhalte | In this workshop we will explore physically the traditional commedia dell'arte masks and their contemporary transposition. Moreover we will explore various dramaturgical techniques that permit a grotesque transposition of the reality in which we live in. The grotesque is a powerful way to comment on the world (and especially on the taboos of a society) but by laughing at it. The grotesque is close to comedy but it is more corrosive. And finally we will explore how the traditional scenarios of commedia dell'arte can be transformed in order to answer contemporaries dilemma: if the renaissance world displayed on the stage a ritualistic fight between "power" and "love", nowadays the contrast shifted towards a fight between "economics" and "sexuality". |
