| Inhalte | Der Kurs findet als Blockveranstaltung an vier Tagen (Mo, Mi-Fr) statt. Unterrichtssprache Deutsch. Einführung und Lektüre: Grundsätze der Aufführungspraxis: Akzent, Takt, Artikulation, Taktarten, Intervallcharakteristik, Tonartencharakteristik, Tanzcharaktere, Wiederholungen. Einführung Quellen, Editionen: Ausgaben und Kritische Berichte. Traktate, Musik und Rhetorik (=Figurenlehre). Einführung in die Verzierungslehre, Interpretationsgeschichte und spezielle Aspekte. This course is an alternative offer to the 'Blockkurs Interpretationslehre' held every semester. This course especially addresses students who prefer lessons in English and who aim at deepening their knowledge in weekly meetings instead of only a few days. The main topics are 1) different branches of performance practice: accents, measure, articulation, tempo indications, characteristics of keys, intervals and dance types, 2) an introduction to musical sources (codicological matters included) and to the handling of their editions and critical reports, and 3) an overview of the main treatises and introductions to interpretation based on rhetorical figures, to the art of ornamentation and improvisation (mainly cadenzas) and to special issues of the history of interpretation (with lots of examples mainly from the 18th to the 19th centuries). |
